Doctor of Philosophy is abbreviation of Ph.D. Ph.D is a postgraduate doctoral degree, usually completed after a Masters degree. Ph.D students carry out independent research towards an original thesis in their subject and receive the title ‘Doctor’ upon successful completion of their degree. Ph.D course duration is 3 years and a student can complete it maximum time span of 5 years.

One must hold a master’s degree in a subject or stream relevant to the subject chosen for the Doctorate General candidates: Minimum of 55% marks in post graduation SC/ST/OBC/ Differently abled candidates :- Minimum of 50% marks in post graduation Candidates with prior experience in the field of research or job industry become strongly eligible for the course
