Civil engineering is a professional engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including works like roads, bridges, canals, dams, and buildings. It is broken into several sub-disciplines including environmental engineering, structural engineering, transportation engineering, municipal or urban engineering, water resources engineering, materials engineering, surveying, and construction engineering.

Eligibility

There are certain eligibility criteria which the students must fulfil in order to pursue Diploma in Civil Engineering. Students should have passed Class 10th or 12 from a recognized board or institute with a minimum aggregate of 50 percent marks.

They must have studied PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) in the last qualifying exam.
