Ombudsperson

Recommendations will be made by the Ombudsperson to students, faculty, staff and the University administration on issues that are referred to her office. The Ombudsperson will also advise the complainants on redressal mechanisms in and out of the University. Being an external individual without any conflict of interest, the Ombudsperson will advise and guide the members of Srinath University community on a confidential basis.

Any Srinath University member is free to contact the Ombudsperson regarding any matter they feel is not being adequately addressed through the University’s current procedures.

The main function of the Ombudsperson would be to promote student, faculty and staff welfare, to offer a safe and confidential platform to them to be heard, and to offer a forum if there are any issues in the context of harassment, inappropriateness of behaviour, unprofessionalism, misuse of power, illegal termination of service or curtailment of university policy on freedom of expression and to counsel both the students/faculty/staff member and the university on the resolution of the dispute pertaining to the same.
