Ph.D in Kurmali Language

Kudmali (also spelled Kurmali) is a regional tribal language primarily spoken in Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal, and Assam, considered a part of the Indo-Aryan language group. A PhD in Kudmali focuses on language documentation, literature, folklore, linguistics, and cultural heritage of the Kudmi Mahato community and other speakers.

This program aims to preserve, document, and promote this lesser-studied language, contributing to both linguistic diversity and indigenous cultural research
