The course emphasis on latest programming languages and tools to develop better and faster applications. BCA makes a base while MCA adds a specialized touch in the subjects studied in BCA.

Master of Computer Applications (MCA) is a two year (four semesters) professional Master’s Degree in computer science awarded in India. Post BCA, the same course is of two years (four semesters). The course is designed to meet the growing demand for qualified professionals in the field of Information Technology. It is a postgraduate course that can be taken up after obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree.

The following are the criteria you need to fit into to be eligible for an MCA degree course.

You need to have a bachelor’s degree in computer application.

You need to have more than 50% of your bachelors degree.

You need to have more than 55% in your 12th standard.
